Webcast overview

Welcome

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at our Council meetings capture the live information and send it to anyone that would like to view the meeting.  Through the use of your Internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Adobe's Flash player you can view the meetings live from the comfort of your own home.

Watching live webcasts

Swansea Council is webcasting the following meetings:

Council meetings: 21 October 2013 and 22 October 2013

Cabinet meetings: 5 November 2013 and 12 November 2013.

To view a webcast click on the play button next to the meeting you want to see on or after the meeting start time.

Watching previous webcasts

Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of the meeting again, then you can view the archive of the webcast. Previous webcasts can be found by clicking on the Webcast Library. The archives allow you to view a meeting and, through the use of the index points, allow you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.

Having problems viewing?

Future Meetings, Minutes and Agendas

At present, we are only webcasting those meetings specified above. However, if you wish to view future minutes and agendas you may do so 3 working days before any meeting by clicking here.
